Romelu Lukaku has vowed to leave Everton this summer, with Chelsea understood to be his preferred destination, rather than Manchester United.

Lukaku, who scored 26 goals for Everton last season, gave cryptic answers to a series of questions about his future following Belgium’s 2-1 win over the Czech Republic yesterday.

The 24-year-old said he had reached an “agreement” with an unnamed club about his future, but would not reveal their identity.

Staying at Everton is no longer an option for next season
